World Environment Day 2020

The World Environment Day was observed on 5 June 2020 in Nagaland University Headquarters Lumami. Dr. Abemo, the Registrar briefly highlighted the programme. A speech was delivered by Prof. Pardeshi Lal, the Vice-Chancellor. He outlined the importance of celebrating the world environment day with the theme “celebrating Biodiversity”.

Along with cleaning of the campus, the planting of the trees at various places was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Exam. The programme was attended by around 40 people comprising University officials, teachers, administrative staff members, students, and children.
